He appears in the far right of the Office. He starts in the Locker Room, taking a direct path to the Office through the Staff Hall and the Freezer. He wears a black tailcoat with a white waistcoat underneath, red pants and a matching bowtie, white gloves, and gray shoes. His mask has empty eye-holes and a missing eyebrow, and is coloured black with a cream face and a grey nose. Undying is a withered, blood-stained 1970s Mickey Mouse mascot costume with a dirty/dusty look of being very old. Because of these elements, an individual is indeed known to be within the confines of the costume and, as his name implies, will only experience and feel the utmost eternal adversity from their imprisonment, the constant feeling of defying their own death against their own wishes to make ends meet and permanently die rather than be dead and refuse to conform to the elements of death itself.ĭespite that, any clarity of the identity of the individual inside the costume, or if there even is someone actually inside, or even if Undying is truly categorised as an actual mascot costume is unknown, though the events of the story still add some minor hints to what the truth of his identity could be. Besides the inability to present a physical expression, he is incapable of verbally communicating anything beyond incoherent groans that sound like they're coming from underwater. Undying is lacking in expression as the only visible emotion he can present is a constant smile from his mask, and his eyes have been cut out. Undying is one of the secondary antagonists in the main story of Treasure Island.
